** Each Small Group will run with a minimum of 3 participants. If the minimum has not been met 24 hours before the hike, we will reach out and refund, reschedule or make alternate arrangements.

What to expect

ROUTE ONE: On the Glenridding Circuit, you can expect a full day of classic Lake District hiking with plenty of variety. The route includes steep climbs, a grade 1 traverse of Swirral Edge (Scrambling on a narrow ridge), and rolling paths, offering a satisfying mix of challenges and rewards.

Along the way, you'll experience everything from dramatic ridgelines to peaceful tarns, all while immersing yourself in the rugged beauty of the Lake District. It's a tough but rewarding hike that promises incredible scenery and a true sense of accomplishment at the finish.

Absolutely! 90% of our participants are solo hikers and adventurers. We pride ourselves on getting together like minded folk to create laughs, memories, and friendships! So there's no need to feel worried about your first experience, or indeed trying a new type of outdoor activity, with us.

For each hike we calculate a suitable time based on the distance and terrain. We do our very best to accommodate the speed of the group we are leading, whilst providing the encouragement needed to complete the challenge.
