Join us for an incredible two-day adventure in the Great Langdale Valley in the heart of the Lake District. Our Guided Expedition is perfect for those looking to learn more about multi day adventures or to help preparing before their own. Get ready to explore the breathtaking scenery of the Great Langdale Valley, accompanied by one of our Mountain Leaders who will share their knowledge of the dramatic landscape, provide coaching along the way and ensure your safety along the way.

DAY 1:
We will meet at 9:30am for a brew at the Sticklebarn Pub to discuss the route, check our kit over and get to know eachother. At approx 10:30am we will start hiking surrounded by the stunning landscape of Great Langdale. As we walk, the trail starts to climb, leading us toward Stickle Tarn, a beautiful mountain lake where we'll stop for lunch. It's a great place to relax and take in the views before we continue our journey. Next, we begin our ascent of Pavey Ark. We will then push on to the summit of Harrison Stickle, one of the highest points of the Langdale Pikes, where sweeping views stretch far into the distance. As the day winds down, we will make our way to Loft Crag and Pike O' Stickle, and finish by descending to our secluded campsite, where we will set up camp, debrief and have some dinner.

DAY 2:
Day 2 begins with packing our camp away, and practicing the 'Leave no trace' principle. We continue onto a scenic hike, taking in the breath-taking views of the Langdale valley below. The highlight of the day is our ascent to Bowfell, one of the tallest mountains in the Lake District. The climb is challenging but rewarding, with every step bringing us closer to stunning panoramic views. At the summit of Bowfell, we're treated to an incredible 360-degree view of the Lake District, with the peaks of Scafell Pike and the valleys stretching out as far as the eye can see. By roughly 3pm, we will return to the car park.
