** Each Small Group will run with a minimum of 3 participants. If the minimum has not been met 24 hours before the hike, we will reach out and refund, reschedule or make alternate arrangements.

What to expect

This guided Spring Equinox hike takes us up Nab Scar for panoramic views across the Lake District as the first light of the season breaks. We'll start in the early morning, allowing time to enjoy the quiet of the fells and the gentle climb to the summit. Along the way, you'll experience the changing light and scenery, with opportunities to pause and take in the surroundings.

After reaching the top, we'll pause to welcome the arrival of spring with a warm drink and a moment to enjoy the view. The walk will then continue toward Grasmere, offering a scenic descent through the fells into the village, combining a memorable sunrise experience with a chance to explore one of the Lake District's most picturesque spots.

For each hike we calculate a suitable time based on the distance and terrain. We do our very best to accommodate the speed of the group we are leading, whilst providing the encouragement needed to complete the challenge.
