** Each Small Group will run with a minimum of 3 participants. If the minimum has not been met 24 hours before the hike, we will reach out and refund, reschedule or make alternate arrangements.

What to expect

Join us for an unforgettable Peak District adventure weekend based in Edale, exploring two of the area's most iconic landscapes. We begin with a challenging and rewarding ascent of Kinder Scout via the historic Jacob's Ladder, climbing out of Edale and onto the vast gritstone plateau where wild moorland, peat tracks, and sweeping views define the character of the Dark Peak.

On day two, we set out from Edale once again to tackle the classic ridge walk over to Mam Tor, the “Shivering Mountain,” following high trails that open up spectacular views across the Hope Valley. This weekend combines two iconic routes from one stunning base, offering a perfect mix of challenge, scenery, and Peak District adventure.

Absolutely! 90% of our participants are solo hikers and adventurers. We pride ourselves on getting together like minded folk to create laughs, memories, and friendships! So there's no need to feel worried about your first experience, or indeed trying a new type of outdoor activity, with us.

For each hike we calculate a suitable time based on the distance and terrain. We do our very best to accommodate the speed of the group we are leading, whilst providing the encouragement needed to complete the challenge.
