Kick off 2025 with a New Year's Day hike that takes you through the heart of the Lake District's beauty!

Each Small Group will run with a minimum of 3 participants. If the minimum has not been met 24 hours before the hike, we will reach out and refund, reschedule or make alternate arrangements.
What to expect:
Our route will explore the stunning shores of Rydal Water and Grasmere, with a stop to uncover the hidden charm of Rydal Caves.
For those feeling adventurous, we'll also have the option to add the climb up Nab Scar, offering breath-taking panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and lakes. This hike is the perfect way to welcome the new year, combining adventure, incredible scenery, and a fresh start. Don't miss out on this unforgettable experience!
You should be comfortable walking up to 8 miles. This route is a fairly flat route with a mix of rocky terrain, grassy paths with small ascents/descents. If you have any medical conditions, please let us know beforehand.

CAN I ATTEND ON MY OWN?
Absolutely! 90% of our participants are solo hikers and adventurers. We pride ourselves on getting together like minded folk to create laughs, memories, and friendships! So there's no need to feel worried about your first experience, or indeed trying a new type of outdoor activity, with us.
IS THERE A TIME LIMIT?
We generally allow up to 5 hours to complete the walk, which is adequate for the majority of participants. We do our very best to accommodate the speed of the group we are leading, whilst providing the encouragement needed to complete the challenge.
ARE THERE TOILETS?
Unfortunately there are no toilets at the meeting point or on the route, however there are toilets in Ambleside or Keswick.
