** Each Small Group will run with a minimum of 3 participants. If the minimum has not been met 24 hours before the hike, we will reach out and refund, reschedule or make alternate arrangements.

What to expect

We'll make our way up to Mam Tor before following the famous Great Ridge, taking in the incredible views across the Edale Valley and surrounding Peak District. Expect some steady climbs, well-defined paths and a few ups and downs along the ridge. It's a great walk for anyone looking to experience one of the Peak District's most iconic routes without rushing.

As the sun begins to set, we'll find ourselves surrounded by rolling hills and sweeping views, with the landscape hopefully lighting up in some brilliant evening colours. We'll enjoy the changing light before heading back, so bring warm layers, a headtorch and suitable footwear for the walk back in the dark.

Absolutely! 90% of our participants are solo hikers and adventurers. We pride ourselves on getting together like minded folk to create laughs, memories, and friendships! So there's no need to feel worried about your first experience, or indeed trying a new type of outdoor activity, with us.

For each hike we calculate a suitable time based on the distance and terrain. We do our very best to accommodate the speed of the group we are leading, whilst providing the encouragement needed to complete the challenge.
