** Each Small Group will run with a minimum of 3 participants. If the minimum has not been met 24 hours before the hike, we will reach out and refund, reschedule or make alternate arrangements.

What to expect

Join us for a magical Lake District night hike up Wansfell Pike, setting out under the stars before reaching the summit in time for an unforgettable night-time view over Windermere and the surrounding fells.

As we climb from Ambleside through quiet woodland paths and open hillside, the landscape gradually fades into silhouettes, with only headtorches and moonlight guiding the way. From the top, the lights of the valleys below contrast with the vast dark outline of the mountains, creating a truly atmospheric experience in the heart of the Lake District.

Absolutely! 90% of our participants are solo hikers and adventurers. We pride ourselves on getting together like minded folk to create laughs, memories, and friendships! So there's no need to feel worried about your first experience, or indeed trying a new type of outdoor activity, with us.

For each hike we calculate a suitable time based on the distance and terrain. We do our very best to accommodate the speed of the group we are leading, whilst providing the encouragement needed to complete the challenge.
