Great Gable is a magnificent mountain located in the Lake District, England. Standing at an impressive height, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes, making it a favorite destination for hikers and nature enthusiasts alike. The ascent to the summit of Great Gable is both challenging and rewarding, taking adventurers through varied terrains, from grassy paths to rocky slopes. Reaching the top, hikers are rewarded with sweeping vistas of rolling hills, picturesque valleys, and a view of Englands deepest lake - Wastwater.

Meeting Instructions
The meeting point is at Seathwaite farm camping. There is a car park on the field to the right, or plenty of spaces on the layby to the left. (full address below). The meeting time is 8am with hope to set off for 8:15am. Once arrived, you will need to read and sign a waiver. Please be aware that there is no phone signal in this area.

WHAT TO EXPECT
You should be comfortable walking up to 8 miles and have a reasonably good fitness level. Great Gable is a mountain route with a mix of rocky terrain, grassy paths and steep ascents/descents. There are also a few hands on moments on the route. If you have any medical conditions, please let me know beforehand.
CAN I ATTEND ON MY OWN?
Absolutely! 90% of our participants are solo hikers and adventurers. We pride ourselves on getting together like minded folk to create laughs, memories, and friendships! So there's no need to feel worried about your first experience, or indeed trying a new type of outdoor activity, with us.
IS THERE A TIME LIMIT?
We generally allow up to 6 hours to complete the walk, which is adequate for the majority of participants. We do our very best to accommodate the speed of the group we are leading, whilst providing the encouragement needed to complete the challenge.
ARE THERE TOILETS?
There are toilets at the meeting point, however we can't guarantee availability of opening times.
