** Each Small Group will run with a minimum of 3 participants. If the minimum has not been met 24 hours before the hike, we will reach out and refund, reschedule or make alternate arrangements.

What to expect

Expect a varied walk taking in woodland paths, open fellside and a few steady climbs as we make our way up Barf, Lord's Seat and Whinlatter. There'll be some steeper sections underfoot, so a reasonable level of fitness and walking boots are recommended.

Along the way, we'll enjoy views across Bassenthwaite Lake, the surrounding forests and the wider Lake District fells. It's a great opportunity to explore a quieter part of the Lakes, bag three summits and enjoy a full day out in the mountains.

Absolutely! 90% of our participants are solo hikers and adventurers. We pride ourselves on getting together like minded folk to create laughs, memories, and friendships! So there's no need to feel worried about your first experience, or indeed trying a new type of outdoor activity, with us.

For each hike we calculate a suitable time based on the distance and terrain. We do our very best to accommodate the speed of the group we are leading, whilst providing the encouragement needed to complete the challenge.
