Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes plans change, and we will do our best to accommodate any necessary cancellations. However, in order to protect our business and ensure that we are fairly compensated for our time and expenses, we have the following cancellation policy in place:

  • Cancellations made 30 days prior to the scheduled event will be eligible for a date change, if a date cannot be mutually agreed upon, then a credit note will be issued.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours will not be eligible for a refund or a credit note.
  • If we are able to fill the spot with another client, a full refund may be offered.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule hikes due to inclement weather, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will make every effort to reschedule the hike for a mutually agreeable date, or offer a credit note to use at a more convenient time if the client is unable to reschedule. Trekking Tom Experiences are not liable for any other transport or accommodation costs that you may have accrued.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that they are physically capable of completing the hike, and should notify the guide or company of any health concerns or medical conditions in advance. If the guide or company determines that a client is not physically capable of completing the hike, or poses a safety risk to themselves or others, they may be asked to cancel their reservation and will not be eligible for a refund.
