Each Small Group will run with a minimum of 3 participants. If the minimum has not been met 24 hours before the hike, we will reach out and refund, reschedule or make alternate arrangements.

Experience the beauty of Buttermere like never before! Join our fantastic event where we will be teaming up with the Lakeland Legend, Paul Burrow who is a qualified lifeguard. Our knowledgeable guides will keep the encouragement constant to push you to your limits! We will be exploring mountains, waterfalls, tarns, bothys and lakes - whats not to love?

Meeting Instructions:
The meeting point is in the Gatesgarth car park, which is located near Buttermere at the bottom of Honister Pass (full address below). The meeting time is 7am with hope to set off for 7:15am. Once arrived, you will need to read and sign a waiver. Please bring some change for the parking machine (£4).

BAD WEATHER?

WHAT TO EXPECT?
The splash and summit is a mountain route with a mix of rocky terrain, grassy paths, steep ascents/descents, and a small amount of scrambling. If you have any medical conditions, please let me know beforehand.

CAN I ATTEND ON MY OWN?
Absolutely! 90% of our participants are solo hikers and adventurers. We pride ourselves on getting together like minded folk to create laughs, memories, and friendships! So there's no need to feel worried about your first experience, or indeed trying a new type of outdoor activity, with us.

IS THERE A TIME LIMIT?
There is no time limit as such but it should take around 4-5 hours, which is adequate for the majority of participants. We do our very best to accommodate the speed of the group we are leading, whilst providing the encouragement needed to complete the challenge.

ARE THERE TOILETS?

There are no toilets at the meeting point or at any point on the hike.

WHAT TO BRING
A typical kit list for this event would include:

• Backpack - around 30 litres
